Mexican food very authentic. Really taste like Old Mexico. You will definitely enjoy it if you go. We will continue to go back

Food and atmosphere is always good. Have had the comida corida and it's good and the prices are very reasonable. Also, the menudo is very tasty.

Food was good, one of the employees had just mopped the floor next to the entrance of the restrooms but failed to put out anything about the wet floor. A customer attempted to enter the restroom and slipped and fell from the wet floor. A male and a female server saw her fall and instead of getting up to help her, they laughed and stayed where they were. The manager was notified but did not come to the customers aide right away. EMS and the fire department were called and still the manager was not attending to the lady that had fallen. He later sent another server to get her statement.

Good food. Had to chase down the waiter for my coffee refill. Paid my bill by debit card. Handed him a $20 and asked him for change to tip him. He just kept on working, my son and I asked him where was the change. He pulled out his wallet nervously and laughed. Then handed us the change.

A little pricey on weekends. Food is good. Service not bad but could improve

Their service was quick even when there was a long waiting list. The food was delicious. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes con huevos estrellados and they were scrumptious. And their tostadas and salsas were just as good, especially the red salsa.I highly recommend this place!

All around good mexican food. You can't go wrong with the green chicken enchilada breakfast.

Worst place that I have ever gotten with the service and food took forever to get my order when my other family members gotten the food already I ordered pancakes they were cold and tasted like cardboard taste Do not recommend this place and then plus restrooms were dirty

Not menudo, just meat and caldo. Where's the pozole/hominy? This isn't the first time this so called restaurant/day care does this on a to go order. Day care you ask? Yeah, little girl about 2 or 3 years old taking you to your seat, not cute! Back to the so called menudo, or meat cal do, even asked the waitress to serve more pozole than meat, and still couldn't do her one job. How hard is it? Don't waist your time coming here!

Bacon tasted weird. Server was inattentive and food prices were ridiculous. They went up nearly $2 dollars on all the menu entrees. The servers here are known for just helping themselves to your change. Watch out.

Chile rellenos are not very good here, hot but still undercooked and fry batter had no flavor

The food was really good and great service but we went on a Sunday morning and the coffee maker wasn't working.

Bought some menudo and it had no meat. Tried calling them but their phone is off.

Food took forever to arrive. Other people got their food before us. I was about to walk out and wished I did. Not my kinda breakfast. Too many tortilla dishes, eggs were overcooked. I didn't get my 2-stack pancakes like I ordered because the waitress didn't understand English, she kept on talking to us in Spanish for some reason. Also this elderly person in the parking lot was rude as hell and in the restaurant they seated her before us and we were there first. I do not recommend this place. There are other Mexican restaurants that treat you much better and communicates better as well in ELP.

Food is okay, service is too slow. We went for a party and the restaurant was not ready with set up. We spent our time setting up, helping server with serving water/tea and plates. Perhaps hire more servers or have plenty of people if a party is booked.

First time to Ernie's. Ordered Barbacoa with eggs. Waiter came to tell me they were out of Barbacoa 12 minutes later. Food arrived and taste was bland, although the steak I got instead of Barbacoa was very tasty. Service was sub-par but it seemed the waiters were more interested in updating Facebook rather than attending to tables. Initially ordered an extra flour tortilla but did not get it. Noticed the charge of $1 was made for the extra tortilla, eventhough I didn't get it. Not a good experience.

The restaurant was pretty empty at 7 pm, but we couldn't find our server to get drink refills or our check. The reason for three stars was my husband loved the mole. My tacos were only okay. We won't be back for a while.

Had the flauta special and the caldo de res was SO good. The downside was the waitress. She was not very attentive and we had to be asking for more drinks, napkins and I arrived after my family had ordered and after 10 minutes I had to ask for a menu. This could be explained if they were busy but there were only 2 tables occupied when I arrived. Customer Service is always big in my book but i will try them again...especially for that caldo!

Great Menudo, huge bowl on their large bowl so if you order it make sure you are Hungry. Homemade tortillas n good size plates on all other menu orders.

To begin we were greeted and sat at our table. The server did her job well but our food took a little too long. Good food.

Rice was cold. Ordered breaded shrimp but came with no sauce. Baked potato was drowned in butter. Server brought utensils 5 minutes after food was served. No napkins were provided

Very good desserts. Layout is a bit confusing when you first walk inside, so take a minute to look around the place. You will see their layout as very well organized for everything they do and make.

Great place to go for breakfast. The food was very good. It get crowded and the parking was limited to a dirt parking lot next to the building. The service was very good and the price was reasonable. I will definitely return again.

Food is always great. The only thing that makes it uncomfortable is that the employes take their children to work and the yelling and playing is annoying like it's a day care🤪 As an adult I would like to enjoy my meal.

Good, hot food. Fast server.Chicken tacos were delicious. The green chicken enchiladas were unusual....tastes like mushroom soup in the green sauce. Not terrible, but unusual and unexpected...not spicy.
